Writing On The Wall

I don't think I can fully articulate the depth of my disappointment and exhaustion. Deep down we all know what Artstation's response is going to be:

Nothing. Again.

Or worse, they have something planned with AI, using our art. Probably not, but that would explain their behavior.

We've made our demands heard. It has been made abundantly clear by the Artstation community what we want, and what we care about, but if I'm reading the writing on the wall, it's time to go. If Artstation makes the right choice, which I won't hold my breath, I'll gladly return. And if not, then farewell. I will not use Artstation anymore and my account will be dormant until Artstation dies.

Artstation used to really be something special, a genuine godsend. I remember giving people early access referrals at conventions, I believed in it so much. I never could have foreseen this happening to the industry, and by extension, this wonderful community we built. I thank early Artstation for facilitating that.

On to something new.
